Blog #1

Step 1 make a blog
Step 2 write in it
Woah woah there now that's just too much, that's like asking a snail to go slow.  How could he expect such a job of us?!?! Okay, but in all seriousness, this is pretty cool(for now).  "Talk about a job or college course course that you might be considering in the future."  Well what job could possibly require such amazing skills such as the ability to solve a 5x5x5 Rubik's cube, being ADHD, or being really loud at times?  A paintball referee of course.  So I have considered being a paintball referee, but  that seems more like a cool weekend job, not much doing on the weekdays and I doubt that's where the "Big Bucks" are.

What other prospects come to mind when people say "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Well I'll tell you absolutely nothing, I usually respond with something like "I'm 16, I don't have to think about the rest of my life till the rest of my life, I can't even guarantee that I'll live long enough to grow up."  People usually take that as though it was the most surprising thing they've heard in their life.  I can totally see it in their thoughts "Hey this kid is 16, he's supposed to have his whole life planned out and memorized like the back of his hands."

When I think of what I could be as an adult, I never think of much, I'm a math/science type of guy, that means I'm going to be an engineer when I grow up.  I am loud, and I like leading that means I could be a CEO, or a politician, or a leader in the military.  I am planning to major in engineering and minor in business, or public speaking, or something like that, but as previously stated, I'm 16, I don't have to have everything planned out, and it's VERY likely to change.  So at this point it looks like I'm could be CEO of my own engineering business, and that sounds pretty good, now the next step is getting there.

  1. i really like your attention getter strategy I was really interested the moment I started to read. I also agree with you and feel as though at this age the only future we should be plannig is maybe for a test next week or homework thats do the next day. Honestly your right chris and as long as we work hard now what we do later on is irrelevant.

  2. I like this post alot, it is very different from most of the blogs i have read so far. i feel like you are giving your honest opinion, rather than writing about a profession that you don't really care about just to follow the instruction.

  3. Hahahahaah I can tell you honestly that I have no idea what I'm doing either. It's irrelevant! Do what you like, which is what you do!
But most importantly, keep being the Chris we all know and love!
