P.E. Teacher

Ever since middle school, I've considered being a P.E. teacher.  I had interest in this profession because I liked my P.E. teachers. I had Mr. Harris, then Mr. Stapes, and lastly Mr. Poppinga. I thought they were all cool teachers, and they were the teachers I trusted the most. If I ever had an issue, I knew I could talk to one of them. I knew they cared, and I wanted to grow up and do the same, I wanted to be someone that cared and could be there to help, someone people could trust, someone that people could look up to.  But the one issue I always had with P.E. teachers is they never pushed us hard enough, we could go as fast or as slow on the mile as we wanted, and the mile was only once a week approximately. If I were a P.E. teacher, I'd make the mile daily. I'd make it a class people'd have to try during in order to pass, I wouldn't care if people wore P.E. clothes, as long as they could run the mile in under 7 minutes, whatever they are wearing is acceptable, I'd recommend that people wear P.E. clothing because it's easier to run a 7 minute mile in the correct clothing than in street clothing. But most important, I'd try to make it a fun class!

Traveling with little to nothing

Today I'm going to talk about something different, I'm talking about traveling around the World/America for a year or so after high school.  It would be like running away from home, except with parental consent.   It sounds appealing to leave and have practically nothing except what you pack with you.  Its like hitting bottom, having no obligations, no one to tell you what to do, and nothing to hold you back.  Having a lot of stuff holds people back.  If you have a lot to lose then you are less likely to do something to jeopardize it, and thus you will will not be living life on the edge, you will be living life boringly, I'm not saying you won't be happy, and have fun.  If you have very little to lose, then you are more free to play life riskily because if you lose then you don't lose much.  So if you do go traveling with little to nothing right after high school, then you can always come back home with Mom and Dad after you do end up losing it all, so it's like a safe version of hitting bottom.  And thus concludes my little rant that I call a blog.
